This auction is for a complete Lionel GP-7 GP-9 Diesel collector truck in good condition. Wheels and rollers show some wear, pickup assembly arms are shiny with trace cosmetic corrosion on front and back. A few of the normal turning scratches on top of pilot, minor burring front edge, plastic pilot has been replaced with screw and nut vice rivets, metal frame box nice and black, trace cosmetic corrosion top, rear and interior flange of frame box, magnetic coupler armature and button, wheels and axles. Brake journals and simulated brake lines nice and black, tack welds are not factory firm. This collector truck will fit any of the postwar GP-7 and GP-9 diesel road switchers such as 2028, 2328, 2337, 2338, 2339, 2346, 2347, 2348, 2349, 2359, 2365 and the 400 and 404 Budd cars. The coupler, pilot with steps (original part 2328-65) and truck are in great shape and the “L” hook is in place. Auction includes the magnetic coupler with the matching black plastic plunger, the collector roller pickup assembly, the insulator, the roller arms, springs and rollers and the sturdy hot lead and the original 671M-22 retaining clip to mount collector truck to the diesel frame. Here is a HO Scale Walters Covered Hopper. It has been nicely weathered with paints and chalks. Hopper has been re-numbers by a private rail road.
